Courtyard Cleanup

Posted in in the punk ass garden, this punk rock life on October 29th, 2006

I spent almost three hours today blowing leaves around the house. I spent one and a half hours of that time picking up acorns from the courtyard on my knees. I’ll follow daily with updates of acorns in the courtyard. Sure does look good though.

Revenge of the Nerds in Pine Lake

Posted in this punk rock life on October 28th, 2006

They are filming a scene for the remake of “Revenge of the Nerds” at our lake. Friday morning when we drove by they had a surf board laying on the beach with a sunken canoe in the lake. When I drove by later the props were gone but this boat was floating around. They also have a shitload of plants stages to the left of the lake. More to come.

A reminder of what’s to come

Bad ass car

Posted in this punk rock life on October 25th, 2006

SOMEONE should buy this car. It is a bad ass car. I raced motocross last year at the Atlanta Supercross after-race in the grassy knoll $20 parking area about a 1/2 mile from the stadium. It rained all day before the race. It took me about 20 minutes to go 15 feet but I fucking made it out and when I did I had the whole line of traffic cheering and jeering at us. I didn’t really know why till I got home. The car was covered in mud. I’m just like my dad, I’ve never been stuck.

As soon as I picked the truck up I was thinking about if my Dad were still here and me taking it to show him the new paint job. I can hear him telling me how sharp it looked.
